The Messenger team updates features and bugs in the app to improve the user experience.
I show you how to update Messenger for Android devices or iPhone and iPad.
Update Messenger on Android
- Open Play Store and unfold the button in the upper left corner.
- Look for Messenger in the "Apps and Games" category.
- If you have pending updates, click on the Messenger icon.
Now you just have to wait for the application to update, keep in mind to be connected to a wi-fi network so that the download finishes quickly.
Update Messenger on iOS
Open the App Store and tap on "Updates" in the lower right corner, search for the Messenger app in the list and start the update.
If you have still problems with the app, we recommend you to reinstall it.
Just go to "Settings" in your phone and the open the "Apps"section. Search Messenger on the list and select the uninstall option. Now you just have to download it again.
